 Joan Connolly the Assistant Principal

Joan Connolly joined the PRIDE in 2018-2019 after serving as an Assistant Principal at Horizon Middle School. Ms Connolly earned her bachelor's degree from The University of Tennessee and her master's degree from the American College of Education and has worked as an educator in our District for 20 years. Ms. Connolly taught Language Arts at Celebration High School before becoming a dean of discipline. Ms. Connolly is recognized as an expert in instructional leadership.

Dr. Rose Pollzzie the Assistant Principal

Dr. Rose Pollzzie is a New Jersey native and Florida State University alumni. She received a bachelor of science degree in Mathematics Education from Florida State University, a master degree in Art of Teaching from Marygrove College, an educational specialist degree in School Psychology from the University of Central Florida, and a doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Central Florida.  Dr. Pollzzie joined the Pride in 2005 as a middle school math instructor. After earning her school counseling certificate in 2007, she served as a school counselor for 14 years. In 2017, Dr. Pollzzie was recognized as the School District Of Osceola County's (SDOC) School Counselor of the Year. Dr. Pollzzie has served as an MTSS Coach, 504 Coordinator, and co-founder of Women's Initiative Nurturing Girls Strength (WINGS). Dr. Pollzzie was appointed as an assistant principal in 2021.

Mrs. Ramirez Rubio

Joyce Ramirez Rubio has been in education for 23 years. She earned a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the American University of Puerto Rico and a master's degree in educational leadership from Florida Atlantic University. Mrs. Ramirez joined the PRIDE family in 2024.
